The Padel Court Sports Cover represents the pinnacle of excellence for those seeking a sturdy, high-performance, and visually striking structure. Constructed with Q335 H-beam steel pillars, this court ensures impeccable structural strength. The overall height of the cover reaches 8 meters at the sides and 10.8 meters at the top center.
The coating process involves sandblasting followed by electrostatic powder coating, a treatment that provides the structure with superior durability, protecting it from the elements and wear and tear.
The roof consists of a double layer of transparent 900 g/m² PVC (sides: 550 g/m²), which allows natural light to filter through while maintaining excellent protection. The roof frame is made of Q235 steel profiles with cross-sections of 100×50 mm and 30×50 mm, a combination that ensures both lightness and strength. The structure is completed by 304 stainless steel installation components, including rubber pads, bolts, and glass fasteners: every detail is designed to stand the test of time.
Notes:
The Padel Court Sports Cover is designed for professional installations in outdoor settings. Thanks to the roof’s height and transparency, the playing experience feels more open and bright, improving visibility and comfort for both athletes and spectators.
The top-quality materials used throughout the structure allow for safe installation in all weather conditions, even in coastal areas or environments with high humidity.
The canopy is fully customizable in every aspect, from design to material selection. It is made of hot-dip galvanized and powder-coated steel, making it durable and suitable foroutdoor use, even in beach areas. Furthermore, it can also be used indoors without compromising its quality and durability. Upon request, additional accessories can be added, components can be modified, dimensions and colors can be adjusted, and even the customer’s logo can be incorporated. Thus, the covering is 100% customizable, ensuring tailor-made solutions for every need.
The padel court canopy has undergone an optimized structural design, developed to ensure adequate levels of safety and stability under primary load conditions, including snow, wind, earthquakes, and foundation loads.
The main columns are designed with a cross-section of 150x150x6 mm. In the snow load compression analysis, the utilization factor is approximately η = 0.45, with an axial resistance of N_Rd = 77.3 kN, which exceeds the design value of 48.4 kN.The use of 12 columns instead of 8 also allows for a more even distribution of loads, reducing the stress on each element. The design requirement is therefore satisfied.
For the compression-bending verification due to the combination of snow and wind loads—again using a 150x150x6 mm cross-section and M_Rd = 24.0—the utilization coefficient falls approximately within the range η = 0.65–0.80, with an optimized value of η = 0.84. The introduction of vertical bracing reduces the bending moment by approximately 40–60%, while the presence of 12 columns allows for better distribution of the forces. This verification is also satisfied for a structure height of approximately 6 m.
The purlins are designed with a cross-section of 100x100x4 mm and have a utilization coefficient of η = 0.75, with the verification successful. The vertical bracing is verified with η = 0.15, while the roof bracing has a utilization factor well below unity, η << 1. The roof membrane is also well verified, with η = 0.04.
The structural connections considered are also found to be adequate. Specifically, the purlin-beam joint has a utilization factor of η = 0.04, while the bracing joint has η = 0.26. Both verification criteria are met.
With regard to seismic behavior, the column has a utilization factor of η = 0.14, indicating a substantial margin relative to the design limit.
The foundation configuration was optimized by changing from an initial solution consisting of 8 footings measuring 80x80x120 cm to a solution with 12 footings measuring 120x120x150 cm. Each footing has a weight W_footing = 54 kN, which exceeds the tensile force of 32.7 kN. The uplift verification is therefore satisfied, with a safety factor FS = 2.73. Longitudinal connecting beams between the footings are also provided to improve the overall stability of the foundation.
For the soil compression check, the preliminary assessment indicates a stress of approximately 166 kN/m², which is considered acceptable, while the summary of the optimized configuration shows a value of 56.5 kN/m². The foundation compression check is therefore also satisfied.
Choosing the Padel Court Sports Cover means opting for a structure that combines aesthetics with professional performance. The quality of the materials used—such as Q335 and Q235steel, high-density PVC, and 304 stainless steel—ensures exceptional longevity and minimal maintenance. Thanks to its panoramic design, the CP45 enhances any location, offering a 360° view of the court—ideal for events, tournaments, and championships. Finally, the pillars are designed to be buried in the ground, while the other components are secured with bolts; the entire structure is compatible with our indoor padel court.
